The Conductor
Ben is currently the Musical Director and Conductor of the Paddock Orchestra and working as Deputy Conductor with Holme Valley Orchestra, Bolton Symphony Orchestra, and Airedale Symphony Orchestra. He began his conducting journey in 2019 with Congleton Youth Orchestra and has since led projects across the North of England. With a background as both performer and teacher, Ben brings a collaborative and engaging style to his conducting, aiming to connect musicians and audiences through inspired, accessible performances.
Paddock Orchestra

This well-established amateur orchestra performs at least three public concerts annually in the Huddersfield area and welcomes musicians of all ages and abilities. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings during school term time at Paddock Village Hall, Huddersfield. Whether you're an experienced musician, a lapsed player looking to return, or a learner eager to join an ensemble, the Paddock Orchestra offers a friendly and supportive environment to reconnect with music. New members are invited to attend a number of rehearsals as a trial to see if the orchestra is the right fit.
